Techno-Modular - LV Switchboards We are one of the most respected manufacturers of L.V. switchboards in East & Central Africa region, designing, fabricating and assembling L.V. Switchboards of various complexities both Partially Type Tested (PTTA) and TypeTested (TTA) to the IEC 60439-1 and KBS 60439-1 standards and to various formations of Form 2a/2b, Form 3a/3b and Form4a/4b. Techno-Modular is a Type - Tested assembly designed by Elsteel Denmark and manufactured under their license by Specialised Power Systems to the standards which are much higher to any other competitors in the region.

Having standard IP44, 65KA s/c for the Type Tested Switchboard unachievable by others and upgrading to 85 KA s/c overall is very possible. SPS also have DIAMOND Mark Of Quality and the switchboards are regularly checked by Kenya Bureau of Standards. Specialised Power Systems also offer Intelligent Switchboards Type Tested and will also offer switchboards to the new IEC Standard of IEC 61439-1. Techno-Modular - Motor Control Centres Specialised Power Systems Ltd, offer very accessible and flexible Modular Motor Control Centres as they can be extended to various sizes as and when required, they are available in fixed version or the withdrawable type and can be integrated with DOL, Star/ Delta, Soft starters, frequency drivers or as per customer requirements. Techno-Modular - Automatic Power Factor Correction Unit Techno-Modular is a flexible system for the Automatic Power Factor Correction Unit whereby the design allows for segregation of the power capacitor from the control gear. We supply and install power capacitors, which are self-healing, Resin Type to IEC 831-2 and CEIEN 60831-2. Back up protection is by using Type 2 ‘D’ characteristics MCB’s or MCCB’s instead of fuses, using special contactors for power factor correction capacitors with in-built IN RUSH CURRENT RESISTANCES. The peculiarity of this type is in the contacts, suitable to connect limiting resistors which close only for the time needed to limit any in rush current peak and reopen to avoid eventual flow of residual currents through resistors.

There is no limitation to the size of Feeder Pillar required. PVC enclosures are also available. Sub-Boards Wall mounted/free standing Sub-boards to various complexities ranging from Form 1 to Form 4 standards. Cable termination can be top/bottom and with high consideration off site conditions. Techno-Modular - Distribution Boards/Consumer Units Standard distribution boards and consumer units manufactured to suit our customer requirements like the modular system incorporating silent modular contactors, time switches etc. Techno-Modular - Automation Control Panels Design and fabricate Automation Control Panels with various options including Lovato PLC systems, frequency drives, soft starters etc and manufacture Automation Control panels for water projects irrigation system and Green House Lighting controls.
